Terms of use
The short version: use the prompts, including commercially. Do not copy the library wholesale and republish it as your own.
Summary
- Every prompt is free to copy, change and use, including in paid work. No attribution required.
- Taking the library as a body of work, by scraping or bulk copying, is not permitted.
- Whatever a model generates for you is yours to deal with under that model's terms. This site claims nothing over it.
- Everything on the site is free today. Advertising is how it is funded. Paid plans may exist in the future and are not in effect now.
- An account is optional and exists so your saved items follow you.
The sections below are the actual terms. Where the summary and a section differ, the section governs.
Who this agreement is with
These terms are between you and Corenexis, which operates WowPrompt. They apply to the website at wowprompt.in, its media and API subdomains, and the signed-in area. Using the site means accepting them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us about the site.
Who may use the site
You may use the site if you are old enough to enter a contract where you live, and in any case not under thirteen. If you use the site for an employer or a client, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on their behalf, and they apply to that organisation too.
Using the prompts
You may copy any published prompt, change it, run it in any tool you like, and use what it produces, including in work you are paid for and in work for clients. No attribution is required, no permission needs to be asked, and no licence needs to be bought.
You may keep your own copies, adapt prompts into your own templates, and build your own internal library from what you find here. You may quote a prompt in an article, a tutorial or a video, and a link back is appreciated rather than required.
None of this depends on having an account. Signing in adds a saved library and ratings; it does not unlock rights to the prompts, which every reader already has.
What is not permitted
The permission above covers prompts individually. It does not cover the library as a body of work. Specifically, you may not:
- Scrape, crawl for bulk extraction, or systematically download the catalogue or a substantial part of it, whether by hand or with a program.
- Republish a substantial part of the library as a competing collection, a dataset, an app, a feed or a downloadable pack.
- Copy the site's structure, categories, descriptions, article text, images or design as a whole in order to reproduce it elsewhere.
- Interfere with the service: probing, load testing without permission, circumventing rate limits, forging requests, attempting to reach the admin portal or another person's account, or defeating any technical control.
- Inflate counters or ratings, by automation or by coordinated action, or otherwise misrepresent how popular something is.
- Remove, obscure or interfere with advertising or with any notice displayed on the site, or frame the site so that it appears to be something else.
- Use the site to produce material that is unlawful, that sexualises minors, that is designed to deceive people about a real person or organisation, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Ordinary search engine crawling is welcome and is governed by the site's robots file.
What you generate
Whatever you generate is between you and the tool you generated it in. This site makes no claim over it, does not receive it, and never sees it.
Equally, it takes no responsibility for it. What a model produces from a prompt is that model's output, and the terms of the tool you used govern what you may do with it, including whether you may use it commercially and whether the provider claims any rights. Check that before you rely on an output in paid work.
Published prompts on this site never contain a hidden instruction that watermarks your output or inserts this site's name into it.
Reference photographs and likeness
Some prompts need a reference photograph, which is flagged on the page before the copy control. You are responsible for having the right to use that photograph.
Do not use a prompt to produce an image of a person who has not agreed to it. Do not use one to impersonate a real person, to create intimate imagery of anyone without their consent, or to produce material involving a minor. This is not a matter of site policy alone; it is unlawful in many places.
The example images
The image shown beside a prompt is an output that prompt produced. It is there so you can see what to expect before you spend a generation credit of your own. It is not stock imagery and is not offered for reuse on its own, and it should not be treated as a guarantee of what you will get.
The site, the brand and the library
The site's design, code, article text, category structure, descriptions, example images, logo and name remain ours. The permission given above for prompts is not a licence to any of these.
The WowPrompt and Corenexis names and marks may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation or authorship where none exists. Naming the site as a source is fine; presenting yourself as it is not.
Accounts
An account here is a Corenexis account, and sign-in happens at Corenexis rather than on this site. Corenexis account terms apply to the account itself alongside these terms.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account. Tell the support desk promptly if you think someone else has your details.
One account per person. Accounts are not transferable. You may close your account at any time by asking the support desk, and closing it removes what was saved and rated under it, as described in the privacy policy.
Ratings and conduct
A rating is meant to say whether a prompt worked for you. Rate honestly and rate what you actually used. Ratings that are automated, traded, coordinated or given in exchange for anything may be removed without notice, along with the account behind them.
Where any facility exists for you to submit text, submit only what you have the right to submit. Nothing submitted is treated as confidential, and anything unlawful, abusive or misleading may be removed.
What is free today
Every part of the site is currently free to use. There is no paid plan in effect, no subscription, no trial that converts into a charge, and no card on file. You cannot be billed by this site as it stands today, because there is no mechanism by which that could happen.
The site is funded by advertising, which is described below.
Paid plans in the future
Paid plans may be introduced later. That has not happened yet, and nothing on the site today should be read as an offer to sell a plan or as a price.
If paid plans are introduced, then: what each plan includes will be stated on its own page before you can subscribe; payment will be handled by an established third-party payment provider; the price, the billing period and the cancellation terms will be shown before you are asked to pay; and a change to what a plan includes will apply from the next renewal rather than retroactively.
Introducing a paid plan will not turn an existing free feature into a paid one without that being stated plainly and in advance. Reading the prompt library is intended to stay free.
Advertising on the site
Advertising may be displayed on public pages, and is how a free reference site of this kind is funded. Advertising may be served by third-party networks, exchanges and partners, which may include Google AdSense, Google Ad Manager and Google AdX, and comparable providers. Naming them is not a statement that any is live today.
An advert is the advertiser's content, not ours. Appearing on this site is not an endorsement of a product, an offer or a claim made in an advert, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and them. What data an advertising provider may receive is described in the privacy policy.
You may not interfere with advertising on the site, click adverts other than out of genuine interest, encourage others to click them, or take any other action that would constitute invalid traffic under a network's policies. Doing so harms the site directly and may end your access to it.
Third-party tools and links
The tools directory describes services operated by other people. Listing one is not an endorsement, a recommendation to buy, or a statement that it is safe or suitable for your purpose. Pricing, limits and features shown are a guide gathered at a point in time, and the vendor's own page is the authority.
Following an outbound link takes you to a service governed by its own terms and its own privacy notice, and we have no control over it.
Availability and changes to the service
The site is offered as a free service with no uptime commitment. It may be unavailable for maintenance, for reasons outside our control, or because something broke.
Features may be added, changed or withdrawn. Prompts, tool entries and articles may be edited, unpublished or removed, including ones you have saved; a saved item that has been unpublished stops being reachable. Where a prompt stops working because a model changed, it is revised or retired rather than left standing.
What is not promised
Models change. A prompt that produced the image shown may produce something different after the tool behind it is updated. Prompts are revised when they stop working and directory entries are corrected when a vendor changes, but neither is guaranteed to be current at the moment you read it.
To the extent the law allows, the site is provided as it is and as it is available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. Nothing on the site is legal, financial, medical or professional advice.
Intellectual property complaints
If you believe something published here infringes your rights, tell the support desk and identify the page, what is infringing, and the right you hold. Material that is infringing is removed. Where a complaint appears mistaken, that will be said rather than the page quietly being restored or quietly kept down.
Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or an account closed where these terms are broken, in particular for bulk copying of the library, for interfering with the service, for manipulating counters or ratings, for invalid advertising traffic, or where required by law. Where it is reasonable to warn first, we will.
You may stop using the site at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive the end of this agreement, including the restrictions in this document, liability, indemnity and governing law, continue to apply.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill or wasted expenditure, arising from the use of a prompt, from the output of any model, from a third-party tool listed in the directory, from an advertisement, or from the site being unavailable.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, which for a free account is nothing.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by agreement. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by any of this.
Indemnity
You agree to cover us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your use of the site in breach of these terms, including a claim about material you generated or published using a prompt from here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes about them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country, or of the right to bring proceedings where those laws allow.
General
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours as part of a transfer of the service, and these terms would continue to apply. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship between us.
Changes to these terms
The date at the top is the date these terms last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it. A change that materially reduces your rights, or that introduces a charge, will be stated plainly and in advance rather than applied quietly.
